We spend so much trying to picture our wedding day. In our imaginations, we look stunning and eye-catching like we have been plucked right out of a glamor bridal magazine. Every bride wants to look their best as they walk down the aisle to their smiling groom (who should also look their best). More importantly, they think about their wedding photos, the reminder of when they were joined as one to their husbands. They need to be picture perfect.
Most of us carry a few extra pounds that we hope the big bridal gowns will be able to mask. There is no problem with this. As long as you feel confident at whatever body size, the glow will show off. However, if losing weight is something that you are keen on achieving, there is no easy way around it. The fat will not melt on its own. It requires some action and determination on your part. There are no shortcuts. The same basics still apply.
Join a Gym. Run around your neighborhood. Attend some aerobic classes. Just get active. The calories have to be burned and you can’t hope that sitting still and wishing them away will do the trick. We all know the fundamental rule of weight loss. Spend more calories than consumed. Find some time in your already hectic schedule to fit in some exercise. Your wedding pictures will appreciate the effort.
Watch the diet
Start substituting unhealthy food for more nutritious options. Cut down on the amount of deep-fried and starchy snacks. Reduce on the processed sugary drinks and alcoholic beverages. Make fruits, vegetables and wholesome meals your friend. Yes, it’s hard but your body will love you for this and it will show on your skin.
Cut the Portions
Nobody is telling you to starve yourself to death. A cranky bride is no fun. Simply eat many smaller meals per day as compared to three large that we are accustomed to. Instead of larger servings of breakfast, lunch and supper try six meals well spread out during the day. This will aid in reducing on unnecessary snacking.
Drink more water
Make taking plenty of water a habit. Remember that gulping a glass before eating will help you fill full faster. This precious commodity will also rid your body of toxins.
