At Drama Sounds and Events we work with a cross-section of clients intent on getting their entertainment needs right. Some of our clients are tech savvy, while others have minimal knowledge of the intricacies of the whole setup that goes into putting together a good gig.
We are often confronted with a myriad of questions, mostly concerns about how prompt and effective the process leading up to the event is. Today we take time to address the ‘setup’ question.
Beating the clock
We have been working our magic for a long time now, but that doesn’t mean that every event setup will work out like clock work. In order to avoid unnecessary glitches and take care of unexpected mishaps, we always ensure that our team arrives very early.
Contingencies and safety
We wouldn’t want to trip while on stage; and we wouldn’t wish the same fate on any guest. Our team is charged with ensuring that no loose cables are spotted around the stage and it takes a lot of professionalism to achieve this. We also make certain that we have backup microphones, guitar picks, guitar cables, amplifiers, power strips, power generators and other related accessories, you can never be prepared enough for an emergency.
Appropriate stage lighting
Stage lighting comes as a separate item on the setup list. If the venue already has its own lighting systems we will be happy to work with that. However, if you would like to go for special lighting such as LEDs then our team will gladly go the extra mile. This is an extra undertaking on our part so we will appreciate prior mention of the same when sending in your order. We always advise our clients to inquire about the state of lighting at the venue they intend to book before signing up.
Rapid wrap up
Once the event is done, we will rapidly wrap up. If you are working against time and the management of the venue would like you to leave the premises as soon as possible, we will fold up very fast. You can count on us!
