We love celebrity weddings and 2013 was a good year for them. We love weddings so we can see new themes, ideas and of course, the wedding gown! We would wish all our celebrities to have huge colourful weddings so we can swim in the glamour. This year, a few of them opted for private weddings or signing at the AG chambers. We could have loved some glamour, but we respect their choices and wish them all the best on their marriage.
We shall cover celebrity weddings that happened in 2013, am excited!
The pretty and tiny Tina Kagia married her comedian fiance Jb at the AG chambers. I was about to be disappointed that there will not be a wedding but JB confirmed to The Kenyan Woman that the big thing is coming next year February! Can’t wait!
This is one couple that managed to keep their relationship a secret until when they tied the knot. The recently born-again Mateke singer held her wedding at her fathers house, on a Monday! Talk about keeping it private. We would have loved a huge wedding, curious to see what the stylish singer would wear, but we bless their choice and their marriage.
Zidi the Band drummer, Sammy Murage married his girlfriend of two years, Jeanine Nyundo. We are loving the dress and the accessories. The bridesmaids dress at the back? Get inspired!
Dj Soxxy had a wedding themed wedding as he married Anne. Maybe Dj Soxxy does not have to join Eric Omondi’s Fatpossible, since Anne will be making him some nice meals now.
Tim Njiru, a very familiar face on TV married his sweetheart Pamela Gatwiri in a white and blue themed wedding. Pamela was trend setting in a lacy gown which will be a major wedding rend in 2014.
Seems Indian themed weddings were a trend in 2013. Reknowned events organizer Chris Kirwa married the love of his life Catherine in a trendy Indian themed wedding.
She plays the role of Olive in the popular local program Mother in Law. Her name is Idah Alisha, and recently wowed us with her beautiful wedding gown as she got married in a fun filled ceremony.
Former KTN anchor Malaa Kivali married Maxwell Odera in a colourful ceremony. The groom and groomsmen wore ankara touched black attires and Malaa’s gown was to die for.
This was the cheesiest wedding of the year, it had us all laughing and feeling fuzzy on the inside. That was Mbithi Masya of Just a Band and Diana Nduba’s wedding where they entertain themselves and us. Make sure you watch the wedding video here. Oh, the one shoulder gown is a trend setter!
And finally, the wedding that had us all talking and trending on Twitter, Emmy Kosgei and Apostle Madubuko’s wedding. Maybe it is that the couple has 3 lavish weddings or that others argued that Madubuko was too old to marry Emmy that created all the controversy, but we sure loved to watch the lavish weddings and the chopper entrances the bride made.
Any wedding that we may have missed? Chat us up and remind us.
